As a contractor, you know how important it is to keep things straightforward for your customers. That’s why offering financing options can be a game-changer. It’s not just about staying up-to-date; it’s about giving your customers what they need. Here’s a no-nonsense guide on how to offer automatic financing options in The New Flat Rate app.

 

How To Offer Financing Options to Your Customers

 

Before you start: Sign up with OPTIMUS Financing RIGHT HERE. Once signed up, you can connect OPTIMUS to The New Flat Rate in your TNFR dashboard. Here’s a quick guide on how to set up The New Flat Rate and OPTIMUS integration

 

Finding and presenting financing options in a menu

 

 

  • Choose what you need: Step through your TNFR app and select the right task for your job. New to The New Flat Rate? Learn how to navigate the TNFR app here. 

 

  • Adding your menu: Review and add what you need to your cart, naming the menu and selecting the call type.

 

  • In your cart: Select the cart icon in the top right corner and select the menu you just added.

 

  • Presenting your menu: Tap the ‘SA’ icon in the top right to rotate the normal menu to your service agreement discount prices, then tap again to rotate to PP (payment plans) to present financing options to your customer. Pro Tip: Start with the regular menu, then switch to payment plans if they’re interested.

 

Getting your customer approved for financing

 

  • Get financed: When your customer chooses a payment plan option, return to your cart and click the “Get Financed” button at the top. Fill in the details, and your customer will immediately get an email to complete the application.

 

  • Closing out: Once they’re approved, the app updates your TNFR invoice with the approval number. Finish the invoice like you usually would, choosing the “Financed” payment method. Using ServiceTitan or HousecallPro, you can find the approval number on your OPTIMUS dashboard.
