Welcome to the How to Use the TNFR/ServiceTitan Integration Tutorial.
Here’s how to use the TNFR and ServiceTitan integration on a service call.
Step 1:
After your dispatcher has assigned the job in ServiceTitan, look at the job, get the information, and then click “Dispatch”.
Once you get to the job site, you will click “Arrive.” Then “Yes.”
Step 2:
Open The New Flat Rate app once you’re ready to start the service call.
Knock on the door and greet your customer.
“Hi, I’m [Your Name]. What brings us out here today?”
*Quick hint- That is the first line in the service call script. You can find those by clicking on the top-left hamburger menu and the “Presentation Scripts” tab.
After reviewing the service charge policy and asking the customer a few more fact-finding questions, you’ll leave them to diagnose the problem.
Step 3:
In this example, we were called out for a clogged drain, so we will select a plumbing repair.
Head to the drain cleaning section and select level one since this is a simple repair.
*Don’t forget to name your menu by including the location, the fixture, and the system that needs repair.
In this example we would name our job “Kitchen Sink Sanitary Waste System Renovation”.
Step 4:
Once added to our job, then open your menu, and you’re ready to present.
Our menu pricing system generates five different price points for every job, and research proves that 80% or more of your customers will choose the bronze level or higher in less than 15 seconds.
Step 5:
Once your customer selects an option, click the cart icon on the top right of your s once that’s been selected screen.
Click the button below that says “Send to Service Titan.”
This button will pull up the uncompleted jobs tin your queue.
Make sure you have the correct job selected, then click “Send to Job”
That sends the job to ServiceTitan and posts it there as an estimate.
Step 6:
Now head back to your ServiceTitan app, and hit the sync or refresh button at the top of your screen and select “Sync Changes.”
Head into the estimates section of the job, and you’ll see the estimate that TNFR created.
*By the way, if you open the estimate, you can see the details and look at the items in the estimate.
Step 7:
Click the “Present” button, then “View”, and then you can review the job details with your customer so you can get final approval from them.
Step 8:
Once they sign, click the “Sign/Accept” button at the top of the screen, and then a pop-up will ask you if you can do the work now.
Click “Yes”, and apply.
You will be redirected to the invoice where you can closeout the call like you normally would.
