How to Set Up the TNFR and ServiceTitan Integration

Welcome to the How to Set Up the TNFR and ServiceTitan Integration Tutorial. 

This tutorial will show you how to set up your service titan integration with the new flat-rate app. So let’s get started!

Step 1:

Head to your TNFR admin dashboard on your desktop computer and log in. tnfrapp.com

Step 2:

Once logged in, click on the integrations button on the left column.

Step 3:

Click the “Learn More” button under the ServiceTitan tab.

Step 4:

Provide the ServiceTitan Tenant ID.

You’ll need to log in to your ServiceTitan dashboard, so open a new tab in your browser. 

Once logged in, head to settings, click integrations, and click API Application Access. 

Copy the Tenant ID on the upper right side of your screen.

Keep that tab open, and go back to the TNFR dashboard tab. 

Now paste that into the Tenant ID box and click submit. 

Step 5:

The next step is to get a little more information from ServiceTitan. 

Head back to your ServiceTitan tab, and on the Manage API Application Access page, click “Connect New App.”

A pop-up will give you the option to select The New Flat Rate. Click on the icon and then click connect. 

Click “Allow Access,” and then some extra information will show. 

You’ll need your Client ID and Client Secret when we head back to the TNFR dashboard.  

Step 6:

Copy your Client ID first, then paste that into your TNFR dashboard under Step 2 on the ServiceTitan Integration page. 

Step 7:

Repeat this process with the Client Secret. Click generate.

*This will pop up a warning saying you can only see this code once.*

If you are ready to paste the code or share it, click “Yes, Continue,” then copy the code and paste it into your TNFR dashboard. 

Step 8:

Now you’re ready to test the connection! Hit that button.

If everything is connected correctly, you’ll see a screen that shows everything is connected.

If not, you’ll see which connections need to be fixed. 

Step 9:

Now we need to connect our user accounts. You’ll see your active TNFR users on the left, and on the right, you will see dropdown boxes where you can connect your ServiceTitan users with the correct TNFR user.

And that’s it! You have successfully integrated ServiceTitan with The New Flat Rate.
