is a builder – passionate about building businesses and helping others grow from a position of strength. At the age of seven, she passed out flyers around town to help promote her dad’s (Rodney Koop) electrical company. As the family business grew, Danielle continued to serve in various roles through high school. After college, she worked for another contractor in Oregon as their Marketing Director, which later lead to a position in Newport Beach, CA for a digital services firm, where she was employee number two in 2005 and helped to grow as they went public in 2007 and were later acquired in 2011. During the merger, Danielle and Rodney had lengthy conversations about this idea…the idea of pricing with options and helping other contractors to put money in their bank for payroll on Fridays. In early 2011, The New Flat Rate was incorporated, and beta tests were completed in 8 states, proving a concept that could be nurtured and grown. Danielle serves on the Advisory Board for Women in HVACR and is also the Executive Director for a local non-profit, Family Frameworks. Her greatest joys are her husband Josh and their three young children, Palmer (6), Lyla (3) and Luke (1) – she doesn’t claim joy from their two Beagle puppies, Dolly and Hazel, who are notorious for adding chaos to the mix.
