We've been busy planning our 2027 Freedom Builders University MasterMind, and I'm pretty excited about everything coming together. We're heading to New Orleans, Louisiana, January 25th–29th, and we've got some awesome speakers, great sessions, and a few fun things planned outside of the meeting room too!
If you've never been to one of our MasterMind events, this isn't your typical conference where you sit in a room all day listening to someone talk at you. We want everyone involved, asking questions, sharing their experiences, and actually walking away with things they can take back and use in their businesses.
| Dates | January 25th–29th, 2027 |
| Location | Hyatt Centric French Quarter, New Orleans, Louisiana |
| How to join | Spots are limited. Schedule a qualification call |
We're bringing in some really great people this year, and we're still adding more.
Rhamy Alejeal with People Processes will be joining us to talk about building teams that can run without the owner having to be involved in every little decision. Because let's be honest, you can't really step away from your business if everything still depends on you.
Avoca AI will be joining us to share how AI can help contractors improve their customer experience, capture more opportunities, and make things a little easier on their teams.
Thaddeus Tondu with On Purpose Media will be there to talk about growing your brand and generating consistent demand for your business. Because growing a company isn't just about being great at what you do. You also have to make sure people know who you are and why they should choose you.
Rodney Koop, founder of The New Flat Rate, will be bringing decades of real-world experience building and growing contractor businesses. Rodney has been in the industry, experienced the challenges firsthand, and has a ton of knowledge to share.
Matt Koop, EVP of TNFR and founder of Freedom Builders University, will be helping lead conversations and working alongside attendees throughout the event.
And that's not even everyone. We have more speakers and sessions in the works that we'll be announcing as we get closer to January.
While we're excited about our speaker lineup, that's really only part of what MasterMind is about.
Throughout the week, we'll have interactive workshops, group discussions, and hot seat sessions where contractors can bring real challenges they're facing in their businesses to the table.
Maybe you're having trouble finding the right employees. Maybe your company is growing, but you feel like you're working more hours than ever. Or maybe you've reached a point where you're doing well but aren't really sure what the next step should be.
Whatever it is, MasterMind gives you the opportunity to talk through those challenges with other business owners who understand your industry. You're not just getting advice from one person. You're getting different perspectives from an entire room of people who have their own experiences, successes, and lessons learned.

Now, we couldn't plan an event in New Orleans and not make time to enjoy the city a little!
We'll be staying at the Hyatt Centric French Quarter, right in the heart of New Orleans. If you've never been, the French Quarter is known for its historic buildings, live jazz, incredible food, and a completely different atmosphere than most places. Between Bourbon Street, Jackson Square, the French Market, and all the local restaurants, there's definitely no shortage of things to check out. And you can't go to New Orleans without at least considering some beignets or authentic Cajun and Creole food.
We're kicking things off Monday evening with a welcome reception where everyone can meet some new faces and catch up with familiar ones before jumping into the sessions. On Tuesday afternoon, we're getting everyone out of the meeting room for a team activity in the city. We're still working through the final details, but we're working on making it a memorable afternoon. And Wednesday evening, we'll come together for a banquet dinner.
Honestly, some of the best conversations and connections happen during these kinds of activities. You never know when a conversation over dinner might turn into a friendship, a new business idea, or even a partnership down the road.
At the end of the day, our goal with MasterMind is pretty simple. We want to help contractors build businesses that give them more freedom, not businesses that completely take over their lives.
MasterMind gives you the opportunity to step away from the everyday craziness of running your business and actually spend some time working ON your business instead of constantly working IN it. We intentionally keep it smaller so everyone has the opportunity to participate, ask questions, and build meaningful relationships.
We're really excited about everything coming together for MasterMind 2027, and we still have more announcements to come.
If you're ready to take a few days away from the daily grind, connect with other contractors, and focus on what's next for your business, we'd love to have you join us. Spots are limited, so be sure to check out our MasterMind 2027 page and schedule a qualification call to learn more.
We can't wait to see everyone in New Orleans!
